Kenya’s flagship environmental convening — 1,200 delegates from government, academia, communities, finance and industry across three days of plenaries, working sessions and the annual State of the Environment address. Member rates and delegate scholarships for county chapters.
ESOK’s competency-based certification for practising professionals: a structured curriculum, examinations, peer review and a public registry — the mark of a credible, current and accountable environmental practitioner in Kenya.
From Article 6 to voluntary standards: how Kenyan carbon projects are designed, verified and monetised — and how communities are protected in the process. Built and taught with ESOK’s Integrity Working Group.
A rotating workshop in every chapter county — restoration economics, waste governance, water resources and climate-finance readiness, tailored to county priorities and delivered with local institutions.
Competitive grants and fellowships for member researchers, with annual priority themes set by the Council — from rangeland carbon to urban heat. Findings are published in the ESOK Journal and briefed directly to policymakers.
Closed-door roundtables convening regulators, practitioners and researchers on the questions that matter — NEMA practice, Article 6 readiness, county climate funds — under the Chatham House rule.
ESOK’s flagship annual assessment — the state of forests, water, wildlife, air, waste and climate action across the 47 counties, compiled by member researchers and launched each year at the Annual Summit.
